"Jaguar" was the model name of a range of cars built by SS Cars Ltd 1935-1940. For example
"SS Jaguar 3½ litre", "SS Jaguar 2½ litre" etc. (See the brochure above.)
After WWII the company name was changed to Jaguar Cars Ltd.
Those of the 1935-1940 models that were relaunched 1945 were named "Jaguar 3½ litre", "Jaguar 2½ litre" etc. (See the brochure below.)
The model name Mark IV was applied retrospectively to the post-war models to differentiate them from later models.

This brochure is only 10x7cm because scarcity of paper after WWII. It is a reduced version of the full size 1938/1939/1940 brochures and is showing the models that were relaunched after the war. Six of the ten pictures are identical with those in the 1939 brochure.
